Internal Joint Restraint System

MEETS ASTM D2241, ASTM D1784 CELL CLASS 12454; GASKETS MEET ASTM F477; JOINTS MEET ASTM D3139.

Eagle Loc IPS is suitable for use in rural water, and agricultural and turf irrigation pipelines, as well as gravity sewer, force main and water reclamation projects.

Eagle Loc IPS teams its standard IPS Pressure pipe with an internal joint restraint mechanism, making it ideal for open-trench, horizontal directional drilling and road bore installations.

The internal locking systems activates with a simple push of the spigot into the bell of the adjoining pipe, gripping the joint from the inside. It eliminates the need for external joint restraint—including tools, rods, clamps bolts or splines—and connects with an unmatched hold. It eliminates concerns of corrosion typically associated with external joint restraints.

It is available in 3- to 8-inch diameters in pressure class 200 psi. It is also available in 40-foot lengths. We manufactures this pipe in blue for irrigation applications, purple for reclaimed water systems, and green for sewer force mains.

Eagle Loc IPS’s internal joint system locks with a simple push, reducing labor costs as much as 30 times.

HORIZONTAL DIRECTIONAL DRILLING: Requiring no special fusing equipment, it’s perfect for hard-to-reach spots, high-traffic areas and wet soils, making it the fastest and least-labor-intensive installation method.

OPEN TRENCH: Less digging to accommodate external restraints and less time in the hole due to snap-together technology result in faster and less expensive installations.

ROAD BORE: Decreasing the profile of traditional external restraints allows for a smaller steel casing and smaller footprint in the right of way, as well as easier pullout.

Easy-Liner

Application:

Easy-Liner pipe is suitable for trenchless rehabilitation of live sewers, storm sewers and culverts.

Benefits:

Easy-Liner pipe offers cost-effective sliplining solutions for sewer rehabilitation projects.

  • Easy-Liner’s short lengths enable a sewer line to be sliplined with smaller entry pits, decreasing property damage and traffic obstructions.
  • The lightweight design and easy joint assembly reduce manpower required for installation; live sewer flow can float the liner pipe downstream to the manhole.
  • It is unaffected by the fluids found in ordinary domestic sewage; sewer gasses and the sulfuring acid generated by the completion of the hydrogen sulfide cycle; and corrosive soils both alkaline and acidic.
  • Its interior stays smooth over long years of service while maximizing system capacity, allowing for savings in pumping costs, as well as savings on the size of the pipe required.

Descriptions:

Meets ASTM F949 and F794, and AASHTO M304; Gaskets meet ASTM F477; Joints meet ASTM D3212. Easy-Liner pipe is suitable for trenchless rehabilitation of live sewers, storm sewers and culverts.

Easy-Liner is made from our Ultra Corr sewer pipe, a direct-bury product, in 24-, 27-, 30- and 36 inch diameters. It can be used in for jack-and-bore casing sections under railroads, interstates or other structures, as well as in rehabilitating concrete, clay tile or brick sewer lines. It comes in laying lengths of 12 feet. It serves as a slipline in failing pipe with minimal equipment and without bypass pumping of the sewer main. Easy-Liner can be used in conjunction with Ultra Corr direct-bury pipe. It typically requires only a small backhoe for lifting and pushing in installation.

HDPE Water & Sewer

Application:

Our high-performance high-density polyethylene water pressure pipes are suitable for municipal and industrial transmission systems for potable water, sewer, drain, mining, irrigation, and reclaimed water.

Benefits:

HDPE pipe for water and sewer is manufactured for excellent performance and a long life expectancy.

  • Its butt-fused joints eliminate potential leak points, common at 10 to 20 feet with ductile iron pipe, for a zero leak rate.
  • Highly resistant to corrosion and weather, recent studies conclude it will last at least 100 years.
  • Its light weight and flexibility make it easy to install, eliminate the need for fittings required with directional changes, and make it highly suitable for use in earthquake prone areas.
  • Its high-strength walls give it the highest PE pressure rating, outstanding resistance to SCG and increased resistance to rapid crack propagation.
  • The increased working stress rating of high-performance PE 4710 resin material makes it a superior choice over steel or ductile iron pipe, especially for the large diameter
    pipe sizes.

Descriptions:

Meets AWWA C901/C906, ASTM D2239, ASTM D2737, ASTM D3035, ASTM F714, Cell Class Per ASTM D3350, PPI Listed Material (TR-4) PE 4710, and ANSI/NSF-14.

Our high-density polyethylene water and sewer pipe is available in 3/4-inch to 63-inch diameters. The product’s physical properties make it applicable to open-trench, horizontal directional drilling, pipe-bursting and slip-lining installations. It can be manufactured with the color striping to identify application, such as a blue stripe for potable water, a green stripe for sewer applications and a purple stripe for reclaimed water. It is available in IPS (iron pipe size) and DIPS (ductile iron pipe size).

New Revisions for AWWA C901 are:

  • The 1/2″ pipe and tubing is no longer produced.
  • The 3/4″ to 3″ IPS and CTS sizes (3/4″ to 2″) are only produced in DR9.
  • The 3/4″ to 3″ SIDR sizes are produced only in DR7.

Please note: This standard applies only to pressure pipe and tubing made from PE4710 and shall be classified as CC2 or CC3 per ASTM D3350, for use in potable water service installations.
